Passion
Collaboration
Creativity

My passion for photography began as an undergraduate at Skidmore College where I discovered the magic of image making. After graduating with a degree in Studio Art & Art History in 1992, I worked for a time in the US then headed to Europe and S.E. Asia for some work experience, my camera in hand. I returned to the States and assisted photographers on the East and West Coast before going out on my own.

I?ve been a commercial photographer for the past eight years. My love of New England brought me back to Kittery, this small coastal community in Maine, where I live with my wife & creative partner, Elisabeth, and our two children.

I value the collaborative aspects of my work, the challenge and stimulation of working with creative people and the different perspectives they bring to each project. When I?m not shooting, I enjoy designing & building, gardening, boats, flea markets, and a rich and satisfying family life.

Clients think of me as creative, positive and upbeat; as a good communicator -- and cool under pressure. Someone who manages to get the desired shots and have a good time in the process.

I love what I do.
